Quoted from Khun Chompu's statement
------------------------
But i dont think Mazda Thailand know that sale volume for the first 4 months will be high like this (If they know, we dont have to wait this long, huh?). So the price is set at the beginning based on the forecast sale volume (plus some risk.) As I read the letter from Mazda, I dont feel that Mazda increase the sale price acoording to the higher material cost. I dont even feel that they are sincere to Mazda-lover like us. We all know since last year (which is before they launcing Mazda 3 in Thailand) that the trend of steel as well as petroleum will be higher and higher for the year of 2005. How come Mazda doesnt beware of this trend before?
What Mazda Thailand doing now is so disgusting!!!
I already paid for booking Mazda 3 .
However, if this is TRUE , I m thinking about changing my mind and go for another brand. Anyway, hope this is not true. Well, I beg leave to Mazda Thailand to say something about this.

I think the answer is so clearly simple. You are right that Mazda should at least be aware about upcoming uncertain of main cost. But what could they execute at that time? ... Setting the price at even higher than what they did to prepare for the change of cost? . I do not think that would be smart choice. As long as the cost keeps stable, how can they increase the sell price without giving more options?
And now, when the costs is changing, they are preparing to adjust sell price by the reason of higher cost respectively, they are being blamed instead.
So poor Mazda....
However, if cost does not really increase though, it would be very impolite to adjust the sell by giving the reason about unexpected demand and insufficient suplly.
