เท่าที่อ่านของอังกฤษก็เค้าก็ว่าไม่ได้กินเท่าไรนะ สำหรับเครื่องพันหก
นอกเมือง 15 โล/ลิตร
ในเมืองประมาณ 10 โล/ลิตร

แต่นี่มันสเปคเมืองนอกกับการจราจรเมืองนอก อย่าไปเชื่อมั่นอะไรมาก

หนูไม่เคยไปอังกฤษค่ะ รบกวนท่านอธิบดีกรมฯ บอกหน่อยได้ไหมค่ะว่า จราจรเมืองนอกมันเป็นอย่างไร เหมือนที่บ้านนอกของหนูไหมค่ะ ทางบ้านนอกของหนู วิ่ง กรุงเทพ-ชะอำ รถไม่มีติดเลยค่ะ ...มันพอจะเหมือนกันไหมค่ะ หากเหมือนกัน รถหนูเครื่อง 1.6 มันไม่เคยวิ่งได้ 15 โลลิตรเลยค่ะ หนูจึงอยากเรียนถามว่า ของ(รถ)หนูผิดปกติไหมค่ะ

1US gallon = 3.7854118 liters. My Mazda 3, 2.3L 5dr Hatch spec shown city/highway 24/29 miles/gallon (10.1/12.3 km/liter). First fill up two weeks ago came up 20 miles/gallon (8.5 km/liter).

I think this is normal that real mileage is less than the spec. When they tested, the car was on the rollers that kept running at constant speed, and it was low speed too (that what I heard). That's why spec shown good mileage. When I have the second tank fill up, I let you know.

Forgot the mention that data above (20 miles/gallon) was mainly city driving (80%) with air conditioning turned on - it's summer here in US.

Also, my car is automatic, so for manual transmission, mileage should be better.

My wife actually drives it everyday. I used to drive it for the first week only (burn-in). Compared to my car (VW Passat 1.8Turbo, auto, 170 hp), it is more fun to drive. I think due to its comparable power, less weight, small size and also, low profile tires.

I can feel หลังติดเบาะ (It took me almost 5 minutes to cut and paste every single one Thai letter in this phrase. But I'm not sure in English, so I had to do it) in every gear (only at 3500 rpm). Turning is precise and crisp. Steering wheel is also covered with leather, so it's soft and comfortable.

It was still in burn-in period (600 miles), so I didn't push it. But now it is about 650 miles, so I can try push it. Will post it later.

Wind noise on highway is considerably low. Well ! Maybe because the radio volume is increased automatically when speed passed 80 mph, so I didn't here wind noise too much. Just hip-hop !!!

But road noise is, for sure, louder. It's the low profile tires (205/50VR17) that cuased this loud noise. Maybe it's not too loud for you guys.

For the seat, my wife complained about the firmness. It feels a lot harder than Passat (leather seat - nice). Not sure how it feels for long trip.

สำหรับการจราจรในอังกฤษนั้น ในเมืองหรือที่เรียกว่า Urban Traffic โดยเฉพาะในมหานครลอนดอนนั้นก็น้อง ๆ กรุงเทพเลยทีเดียว โดยเฉพาะในช่วงเวลาเร่งด่วน

ส่วนนอกเมือง ก็เรื่อย ๆ ครับ เพราะมี Motorway เชื่อมเมืองใหญ่ทั่วทั้งเกาะ การจราจรไม่ค่อยติดขัดเท่าใดนัก เพียงแต่ใช้ความเร็วได้ไม่เท่า AutoBahn ของเยอรมันแค่นั้นเอง แต่ไปได้เร็วกว่าที่อเมริกานิด ๆ

จึงเรียนมาเพื่อทราบ

Now in California, 91 octane is around US$ 2.17 / gallon (around 22.93 baht/liter) based on US$ 1 = 40 baht. They don't have 95 here.
