Mazda releases new engines

Mazda has begun production of a new range of all-aluminium, 4-cylinder engines, with a displacement range of 1.3 litres or 1.5 litres. The MZR1.3/1.5 engines will appear in Mazda's small cars. Mazda says this new generation of engines provide linear acceleration, lively response, strong torque response, and improved environmental performances. The MRZ1.3 (Type ZJ-VE) produces 92bhp @ 6,000 rpm, and the MZR1.5 (Type ZY-VE) produces 114 bhp @ 6,000 rpm

นอกจากนี้ยังมีเครื่องบล็อค Z อีกตัวที่ไม่ได้พูดถึงคือ ZL ความจุ 1500 cc. วาวล์แปรผันแรงม้าสูงสุด 130 แรงม้าที่เกือบๆ 7000 รอบ วางอยู่ใน Protege' เวอร์ชันญี่ปุ่น (ถ้าจำไม่ผิดนะ)
