Dearly beloved, we are assembled here in the presence of God, to join this man and this woman in holy marriage, which is instituted of God, regulated by his commandments, blessed by our Lord Jesus Christ, and to be held in honor among all men. Let us therefore reverently remember that God has established and sanctified marriage, for the welfare and happiness of mankind. Our Savior has declared that a man shall forsake his father and mother and cleave unto his wife. By his apostles, he has instructed those who enter into this relation to cherish a mutual esteem and love, to bear with each other's infirmities and weaknesses; to comfort each other in sickness, trouble, and sorrow; in honesty and industry to provide for each other and for their household in temporal things; to pray for and encourage each other in the things which pertain to God; and to live together as heirs of the grace of life.

O God, our Father, source of infinite love, bless us with a sense of your indwelling presence as we worship here. Keep us sensitive to the wonder of things which fill our days and give meaning to life. Especially do we pray your divine blessing on these two who come here in this high moment of their lives. Be hear to them as they take their promises to each other, that they shall pledge their vows with deepest sincerity knowing full well the meaning of the words they say. ช่วง Charge to Bride and Groom

God is joining you together. He will seal you covenant with His. Thus you will be the instruments of his will and purpose for yourselves and for others. Your love is not your own; it is God's love implanted within you to which you in freedom have joyously responded. Now he will create out of your love something which did not exist before - a holy marriage. Marriage is more than your love for each other; it is God's holy ordinance; it is his act before it is yours. By the will of God you belong to each other until death will part you.

ช่วง Wedding Prayer

Almighty God, who saw that it was not good for man to live alone and who established marriage for the happiness and well-being of men and women, we thank thee for thy gift of love to these two, and we rejoice on this glad occasion, when these two have come before the altar to be joined in this sacred ceremony, to make meaningful promises to each other. Bless this young husband. Give him strength as he fights the battles for bread. Make him wise to weight the values of life. Give him a sound sense of judgement. Keep him honest and forthright in character in a way that will make his wife proud of him. And may she find in him that inner strength for which the heart of every woman longs. Bless this lovely wife. Give to her an understanding the faith that will make her great. Keep her alert to every opportunity to bring good cheer to those she loves. Grant that she may have the joy that comes from doing daily tasks well. Give to her that inner beauty of spirit that never fails. Bless these two as together they seek to find their place in the world. Give them tasks to do that will challenge them. Give to them enough tears to keep them tender, enough failure to keep their hands clenched in thine, enough success that they will be sure that they walk with thee. And when, at last, one must lay the other in the arms of God, may they be found then, as now, still thanking thee for each other.
